Human Resources Consulting Department Support:
Support HRC Sales Leader and Director, HRC with administrative support in the areas of client database management, setting up new clients, creating/analyzing reports (billable hours, aging, etc.), and reaching out to new and current clients regarding their invoices and payment status.
Research vendors for HR tools/resources, labor law posters, etc. and order supplies as needed.
Assist with the constant improvement of our HR Resources tool kit, organization of share drive, and create new forms to standardize processes such as client onboarding, HR Audits, etc.
HR Consultant Team and Client Support:
Support HR Consultants in all areas of HR administration such as HR Audits/Implementations (employee personnel file and I-9 audits), reporting (EEO-1, HCSO), LOAs, completing paperwork such as VOEs, EDD notices and employee new hire/termination documents, filing, benefits audits, 401(k) and training administration, and employment law/best practices research.
Assist with HR technology implementation projects.
Learn and grow in all areas of HR to be able to increasingly assist in the areas of policy and Employee Handbook development, HR Audits, Employment Processing and Onboarding/Offboarding, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, Training Development and Facilitation, Benefits, Payroll, and HR Technology for small/emerging-growth to mid-size organizations.
May be assigned as HR Consultant to small clients with minimal contracted hours with oversight from Sr. HR Consultant.
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and a strong understanding of business operational technology tools and platforms.
Aptitude for learning and becoming an expert in existing and emerging HR technology platforms.
Strong project management, research, analytical skills, and attention to detail are key requirements for the position.
Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
A sense of urgency and exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with a desire to build long, lasting relationships.
Sound judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government (Federal and State) law.
The ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout the company.
Independent judgment and a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal team and clients' management teams and employees.
Occasional travel to client sites may be required.
Required Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field; and a minimum of 2 years of HR experience
Experience in the administration of HR, benefits and compensation programs
Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP a plus
A solid foundation of HR knowledge - employment laws and practices - as well as a desire to learn and grow in the HR field.
