Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director Human Resources is responsible to plan, design, develop and evaluate human resources related initiatives that support the organizational strategic goals. In addition, the Director leads performance management and talent assessment and effective employee relations. This position will lead the employee and labor relations activities for Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital and focus on building positive and influential relationships among all levels in the organization, with external Labor partners, and within the represented bargaining units. This position serves as Chief Negotiator for collective bargaining agreements for the hospital, driving conflict resolution and positive employee and labor relations aligned with Wellfound's values and business strategy. Work situations require strong customer service focus, leadership, Labor Relations skill, effective dispute resolution, critical thinking, initiative, independent judgment in decision-making, a professional work ethic and effective interpersonal and presentation skills. The role requires a mix of experience in HR, labor relations, finance, operations, and leadership.

What We Require:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Health Care Administration, or related field required. Graduate degree preferred.
Recognized human resources professional certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
Minimum Requirements: 8 years of experience in Human Resources to include employee relations, labor and policy development in a large organization, preferably in healthcare.
5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity Experience in employee recognition, rewards, engagement, and leadership development required.
Experience in auditing the personnel function, interpretation of personnel policy, and managing a wide range of employee relation issues.
