Overview REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Responsibilities This Sr. Manager, Human Resources (HR) is responsible for providing HR support and leadership to its assigned plants and teams to meet business objectives. This role will ensure HR strategies are implemented including recruiting, training and development, HR policy and procedure administration and resolution.
Driving programs and initiatives for the business to be aligned with the company, Human Resources, and site strategic goals and objectives.
Partner with leadership to ensure effective programs to support business objectives.
Staying connected to the business by participating in all aspects.
Manage and develop assigned HR Managers covering and spanning US, Canada and Mexico
Maintain and update employment related information, including HRIS entries.
Lead assigned labor contract negotiations.
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related degree.
Minimum five (10) years of previous success as a Human Resources leader within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Labor relations experience including contract administration, grievance resolution, and labor negotiations.
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively multi-task and properly handle competing priorities.
Knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, labor laws and regulatory requirements.
Willingness and ability to understand the operational and financial functions of the business.
Travel as necessary (minimum approximately 35%)
