Job Summary: The Senior Manager, will provide guidance and support to employees for all HR related matters, including employee relations, organizational development, recruitment administration, talent development, employee engagement and performance management. Responsible for the management of the Millstone Office, in conjunction with facilities teams from NY, SAI and SFA Building Management. Must be able to work the Flexi 3.0 schedule and travel to work a split schedule 50% in the NY office (390 Madison Ave) and 50% in the East Windsor, NJ office. Responsible for the administration of human resources matters as it relates to managing the workforce, projects and/or day-to-day deliverables supporting assigned business groups. Liaison with HR business partners across the Operations/Supply Chain organization to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to workforce initiatives.
As part of the HR Team, the Senior Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, the HR Pillars (People Services, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, DEI), Corporate Communications and other cross-functional departments to design and implement a culture that supports and reinforces the One Shiseido Culture, Business Goals and the People First initiatives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:- Involvement in all aspects of people management including but not limited to Performance Management, Learning and Development, Talent Review, Talent Development, Recruitment, Benefits and creating a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and empathy.
- Act as counsel, guide, and support to employees and people managers. Provide advice and coaching to managers regarding employee relations practices, policies, and employment laws.
- Build and develop meaningful relationships with the Department Heads and teams that are part of client groups across assigned divisions. Provide advice and counsel to Department Heads using HR Pillars and/or Legal to guide toward outcomes that protect the organization and drive for optimized results.
- Manage the assigned business unit to deliver results. Use data and knowledge of the people, the issues, the org structure and present ideas, innovations and approaches to delivering solutions and/or ideas to people-related matters.
- Responsible for management of the Administration to support business operations: On-boarding, Org Charts, Service Anniversaries, Dashboard, Exits, Exit Tracker, Temp Tracker, COVID communications and Trackers, Expats, and others as they arise. Administer termination processes, including conducting and analyzing exit interviews and coordinating with all departments to ensure proper termination for all exiting employees.
- Prepare analytical reports as required by the business, and/or ED HR. Use reasoning, facts and experience to craft a story behind the data which will drive decision making by the leaders in the business and/or HR. Utilize all tools and resources available to support fact finding and data analytics.
- Monitor turnover and develop strategies to maintain/enhance morale/engagement and retention. Partner with the business areas to identify employee training needs and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain an Employee Engagement committee/community at the Millstone Office. Work closely with the Operations & AIC Culture Committees to draw synergies and cohesive approaches to engagement.
- Manage the Millstone Office. Create and maintain the Millstone Office administration procedures. Work closely with the HR Coordinator to actively update and maintain the procedures.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Business Unit Hiring Managers on Recruitment.
- Actively manage core programs, including but not limited to; Interns, Co-Ops, Career Fairs, Rutgers Road To Supply Chain Leadership, Special Presentations, etc... as required in order to support talent pipelining and hiring strategies.
- Be a culture champion and work closely with Lean Six Sigma and other HRBPS across Operations.
- Develop, update, and maintain HR Policies and procedures as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Handle any presentation as requested or required to demonstrate business proposal. Present to HR and/or Business Leaders on business proposals, HR plans and/or procedures.
- Stay abreast of external trends and research relevant to HR and talent management. Bring ideas to the table and share across Operations HRBP and/or to line management.

Financial Accountability:- Monitoring and partnering (alongside HRBP & Finance) to ensure adherence to budget commitments in so far as open roles, personal T&E, Employee Engagement budgets.
Qualifications & Competencies: - Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or equivalent Human Resources certification preferred.
- 7+ years of HR experience in Human Resources.
- Proven HR professional who can grasp details quickly and be hands on in execution and strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency using Advanced Excel with the ability to produce graphs, charts, and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, perform calculations, V-look up and Pivot tables. Also, must be proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience using TEAMS and Success Factors are highly desired.
- Must be able to work the Flexi 3.0 schedule and travel between the three core locations: New York Headquarters and New Jersey (Millstone Office and Manufacturing Plant).
