Job DescriptionTo provide administrative support for implementing Omni culture, benefits, training programs, recruitment, safety, worker's compensation, and other programs that help the Associate Services Department meet its mission statement, strategic objectives and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities- Facilitate the on-boarding and processing of new hires
- Facilitate details of the employment termination process
- Facilitate the transfer and promotion of Associates
- Ensure that applicants are tracked and moved through the interview/approval process in a timely manner
- Administer the Employee Referral program and submit to Payroll Administrator
- Post jobs on ICSIMS, our job board and other local recruiting sites and media as necessary
- Administer benefits enrollment and ensure Associates receive/enroll in benefit programs according to Omni standards.
- Assist with the annual Open Enrollment (for benefits) process
- Update Bulletin Boards monthly. Use effective communication channels to share accomplishments, promotions and notable events/hotel happenings with the Associates.
- Administer the hotel's safety incentive program and fulfill responsibilities as a member of the Safety Committee
- Maintain active and termed Associate files, keeping them up-to-date.
- Manage data in the HRIS system (UltiPro)
- Maintain all Associate Lockers including an annual locker audit.
- Answer Associate inquiries and follow-up on requests timely.
- Assist with community relations events as needed by HRD.
- Oversee Service Score Card tracker spreadsheet.
- Order office supplies, conduct regular inventories and maintain par levels.
- Create purchase orders and update the HR Checkbook.
- Assist with department trainings by submitting BEO, sending list of who is to attend to Depts. Oversee set-up and AV needs etc.
- Act as the Culture Warrior by assisting with employee relations events and publicizing as needed. Be at events to ensure set-up needs are met. Take pictures to be posted on Omni social media sites and BOH boards.
- Complete other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications- Previous Human Resources experience or administrative experience required. Hospitality Human Resources experience is a plus
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- The ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments by the deadline.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
