Position: Human Resources Generalist Location: 100% Remote (Working PST hours) Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5:30 PST Hopeful for those we support, rebellious in our approach, and collaborative by breaking down barriers, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to help us run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and designing company policies and practices. Key Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings; advises on recruiting strategies. Conducts new hire orientation and supports employee recognition programs. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave. Assists with supporting managers with disciplinary actions, including preparing documentation; supports the dispute and investigation process. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Assists with compensation review including equity analysis and equity recommendations. Creates and updates job descriptions. May support other duties as requested Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; experience may substitute for minimum education. Minimum 3 years combined experience in recruiting and HR generalist functions. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast –paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Human resources certification; for example, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP Please let me know if you have any questions.
