The Contract Recruiter is a member of small team of recruiters focused on identifying, qualifying, and hiring top sales associates and store managers required to fuel growth. He/she works directly with HR and Store Managers and hires team members needed to grow various sales regions. This is a Contract position (2-3 months) with the possibility of becoming a permanent position within Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Directly source, screen, interview and hire sales associates and sales managers in support of a region.

  • Work with Human Resources and Sales Managers to understand the job role and requirements.

  • Source new candidates using a variety of tools and job boards.

  • Post jobs on relevant job boards and interact with candidates explaining the benefits to joining a fast-paced company with high career growth.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and store managers.

  • Use a structured and disciplined approach in the interview to hire sales associates and sales managers.

  • Adhere to best hiring practices including documentation of interview, candidate selection, and reference check(s) where required.

  • Collaborate with store manager on start dates, salaries, and onboarding of new hires. Ensure completion, accuracy of new hire paperwork, and ensure that all pre-hire requirements are met and documented prior to new hire’s start date.

  • Maintain accurate record in ATS and HR systems and keep candidates appraised of their status.

  • Modify job postings and templates, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Business or related field.

  • Two to five years of experience recruiting in retail, sales or service business.

  • Experience with Application Tracking Systems, preferably ADP.

  • Passion for recruiting and development of personnel.

  • Excellent listening, probing, assessment, and critical thinking skills.

  • Must be able to multi-task and be effective in sourcing and recruiting in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outgoing and engaging personality.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong work ethic and high personal drive.
