Payroll and Benefits Specialist | MIEC


The Payroll & Benefits Specialist (exempt position) is an integral member of the People Operations team and performs professional-level human resources duties, with a focus on payroll and employee benefits. Under the direction of the Director of People Operations, the Specialist is responsible for accurately and timely processing bi-weekly payroll company-wide. The Specialist also serves as an in-house expert on MIEC’s robust employee benefits programs, and administers regular benefits-related tasks. The Specialist is a problem-solver, system thinker and provides excellent customer service to internal customers and payroll and benefits vendors. The Specialist also serves as a subject matter expert on the company’s HRIS and implements policies and procedures in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MIEC.
